Altar
Society members are reminded that if you are unable to attend for your
scheduled time that you find your own replacement from someone on the rostered
list. You help with this would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the
parish office if there are any concerns.
MORE MEMBERS NEEDED!
If you are a parishioner and can spare an hour per month to
come in and clean the church with a small team of altar society members,
please contact the Parish office and leave a message on 8297
1699.
Could you imagine attending Mass each weekend where the Church
had not been cleaned and there are no flowers on the altar? How many things within our Parish do
we take for granted or assume someone else will do?
The Altar Society performs the very important Ministry of
preparing the altar for the celebration of the Mass. In recent times the
numbers participating in this Ministry has diminished dramatically.
This is a Ministry that is open to Men and Women of all ages and
there is great flexibility as to when this Ministry can be undertaken.
People in full time employment,
this is a Ministry you can participate in with minimal impact upon work or family
commitments.
You are invited to participate in this important Ministry, so if
