At the recent PPC Meeting we discussed some of the feedback that we had received  regarding the purpose and structure of our recent Parish Assembly. There was a feeling that it is good to hear about all the groups that operate in the Parish but some parishioners would have liked more of an opportunity to ask questions and perhaps hear about each group's plans for the following year as well. All these points have been noted and will be revisited when we begin the planning for next year's assembly.

The  previous Parish Pastoral Council expired at the Parish Assembly held on Pentecost Sunday.  It is anticipated a new Parish Pastoral Council is currently  being established with a view to having a wide range of parish groups or committees represented. It will  supplement the managerial work of our parish along with other bodies such as the  Finance Council and the Redevelopment Committee. It will  focus on pastoral matters to assist and advise our Parish Priest in matters both administrative and pastoral, within operations of the parish.
