During building renovations at St. Anthony's church a time capsule from 1959 was located near the foundation stone. The capsule had been placed at the time of building the church.
The capsule contained, amongst other things, earlier currency coins of the time placed by parishioners of the time.. There was also a a document with a list of people associated with the building of the church.Now the capsule will be replaced in the wall of St Anthony's. Some of our children have placed some more coins (this time decimal) predating the present renovations.
Pictured below are some of our children with the new coins, time capsule and also the original document.
