Self Help Project Completion Report - Project from the St. Mary's Conference, Thekkemala, Kanjirapally, India.

The project's aim was to provide several families with the opportunity to earn additional income through cow rearing (6 families).  The families did not have the resources to fund these themselves.

The support of several Conferences (Edwardstown, Glenelg, Blackwood, Col Lt Gdns, Brighton) amounted to around 72% of the final cost of the project, with the balance of the cost coming from local Vincentians.

The project was a most worthwhile initiative, because it evolved from the needs of a poor community and it increases the economic viability and health of the whole community.
